A Lawler Family favorite with a twist
When throwing a garden party, one needs champagne punch. Luckily my family has something up its sleeve for such an occasion — a champagne, grapefruit, and pineapple punch, usually reserved for Christmas.
I gave the recipe to Fritz, who had volunteered for punch duty. She made some modifications (read: vodka) and it turned out just as dangerously delicious, if different, as my family's go-to recipe. I'm going to share both the Lawler and Fritz Twist version — something for the tradition-loving and adventurous alike.

I love that this not only comes together easily but hits that perfect sweet spot. There's nothing sickly syrupy about this punch, it's just refreshing and drinkable — ideal for summer parties. Make it the Lawler way or the Fritz Twist way for an added boozy kick. Either way, I'm sure you won't have any left over. It's just that good!
