Recap: A winter weekend in up-north Wisconsin
When it's -22 degrees in the North Woods, this is what you do.
**Note: there will be lots of waking up and eating.**
Wake up and make a giant Dutch Baby pancake. (Recipe coming soon!)
Bundle up and take snow walks.
Go out for a Friday fish fry (duh). Check that placemat!
Visit the "antler bar" and share homemade wine with the bartenders.
Wake up and watch Rachel make Shakshuka – a life-changing egg dish – and popovers. (Recipes will be coming when I attempt them myself!)
Lay by the fire as the dogs sit on each other and you.
Make new friends who know how to crank out stovetop popcorn.
Wake up to a leaning stack of wild rice waffles, know that life is complete, and start daydreaming of your next trip to the North Woods.
