Be cheered

"Commence to start."



I've been waiting for a truly marvelous occasion to pen — er, type — my first post, but this will have to do: It's Friday afternoon, I'm alone in my corner of the office, jamming out to the "Frozen" soundtrack (because somehow I'm not yet over it) — and someone from the other end of the building just stopped by and gave me a tomato plant. It's like when Winnie the Pooh said "Nobody can be uncheered with a balloon." Except in this case, it's a tomato plant. 

So in celebration of being cheered, allow me to kickstart this whole business of blogging. Hi, I'm Kelsey. I'm a writer, editor, and daydream believer. I'm also a Potterhead. I work for Bead Style magazine (we teach folks how to make jewelry). I live at home with my parents because I'm just a cool twenty-something that way. I'm a big fan of fun rain boots, polka dots, man's best friend, et les choses français. I love baking but especially in a girly apron, and I love eating but only all the time. Welcome to my world.
