Break out the blender.
My version is a blend of various recipes I've seen on Pinterest and the one on the back of the Silk Almond-Coconut Blend carton. If you don't have the blended milk, no worries. You can substitute straight almond or coconut — in fact, I truly prefer plain coconut. Whatever the flavor, I go for the original kind, but you could try unsweetened if that's your thing.
CHOCONUT SMOOTHIE
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
1 banana, sliced and frozen (do the day before!)
1 cup almond-coconut milk
1 TBS unsweetened cocoa powder
1 TBS almond butter
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Add more milk or flavorings until the smoothie trips your trigger.

So far, I've made this as a lunchtime treat — it's filling, you've got some protein in there, and most of the sugar comes straight from the banana. Though I would never claim to be a nutrition expert and — so sue me! — there's not a leaf of kale to be found here, does it really matter? It's delicious.
