"Yes, Santa, there are still Virginias in this world."

Ultimately, to me, the movie is defined by Jessica's relationship with Sam Elliott (the voice behind "Beef, it's what's for dinner") as the father who's lost his way. There's a scene where he reads from "Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus" and it will make you feel every notch on the spectrum of emotion - and if you're like me, cry like a baby. Bless this man and his superb acting and bedtime story voice. And bless this movie's message: When you have nothing left to give this season, give love.
